🍁 🛴 🚲 We’re excited to announce that TransLink, the regional transportation authority for Metro Vancouver, has selected Blue Systems to run its shared mobility data platform across the region. Our Smart Mobility Platform gives TransLink and its member municipalities a single environment to monitor shared micromobility – while allowing each jurisdiction (Vancouver, North Shore, Coquitlam, Port Moody, Richmond, New Westminster, Burnaby, UBC, SFU) to set and enforce its own rules. This regional approach aligns with TransLink’s Transport 2050 vision of a connected network of public transit, shared mobility, and curb space. We’re proud to bring our experience from work with other major transportation authorities across the world to support this important work in Metro Vancouver. 👉 Read more here: https://lnkd.in/e8iZPBDP

📱 🛴 🚨 Blue Systems’ Smart Patrol App is helping cities and universities bring field enforcement into the digital age. By connecting field teams with real-time mobility and parking data, Smart Patrol gives agencies a faster, more accurate way to manage dockless shared micromobility on city streets and college campuses. At the City of Tempe, the app is being used with Arizona State University to support e-scooter parking operations on campus, helping staff verify conditions in the field and improve day-to-day parking management. On a large campus like ASU’s, that means better visibility into parking compliance, rider behavior, and shifting demand across multiple zones. More recently, the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation has also begun using Smart Patrol in the field, allowing staff to report scooters found in parks while giving the New York City Department of Transportation direct visibility into conditions on the ground. That kind of real-time coordination helps agencies move from fragmented, manual workflows to a more connected, data-driven approach. Smart Patrol is part of Blue Systems’ broader Smart Mobility Platform, designed to help cities, universities, airports, and agencies improve operations across parking, curbside, and public-space management. The #2026WorldCup ⚽️ presents an opportunity for host cities across North America to understand crowd movement beyond the stadium gates, at the neighborhood level, where #fanzones and watch parties actually happen. At Blue Systems, we've been working alongside city teams of LADOT & City of San José to track shared #micromobility trips around stadiums, fan festivals and watch parties. With the quarterfinals underway and LA28 two years out, that feels like a conversation worth having. 👉 Full article and insights: https://lnkd.in/ghcpFrhG

🗽 🍎 🏙️ New York City Department of Transportation is taking a more proactive approach to managing shared micromobility curb space in the East Bronx and Eastern Queens. 🛴 🅿️ With Blue Systems' E-Scooter Parking Manager, the City is better understanding e-scooter demand, reducing overcrowding in designated parking areas, and giving both NYCDOT and operators clearer visibility into where intervention may be needed. 📊 We combined the OMF's Mobility Data Specification (MDS) and Curb Data Specification (CDS) to give cities the regulatory visibility of a docked system, without the infrastructure investment. It’s a more data-driven way to manage dockless mobility and improve parking discipline. As Brian Lee, Senior Program Manager of Shared Mobility at NYCDOT, said: “Success for this project means giving NYCDOT staff better visibility into parking demand and curb utilization so we can respond more proactively. If we can identify where corrals are consistently overcrowded or understocked, we can work with operators to improve performance, support a more orderly public realm, and make better long-term curb allocation decisions.” 🤝 We are proud to support NYCDOT in advancing smarter curb management.
