Family STEAM Night 2026 🧪🎨 Last night, our families spent time learning about the science of art through hands-on activities like 3D printing, sewing, and more. Plus, they came home with some pretty cool projects! Programs like these give our families a moment of relief and the chance to connect with others who understand the cancer journey 🤍

Why do we share so many stories about adults? 💬 2 reasons: ⭐️ Because we provide support for a lifetime — when cancer survivors grow up and face new challenges into adulthood, they can count on AHF to be there every step of the way. ⭐️ And because when a child is diagnosed with cancer, every member of the family is affected — mentally, physically, and emotionally. We provide lifetime, family-centered care because healing doesn’t stop when treatment ends, and the adults involved need support, too. 🧑🧑🧒🧒

We asked our campers what they did at camp last week. Then we asked the staff what actually happened. 👀 🐈⬛ "Wore glasses with whiskers" → Explored animal adaptations with Mrs. Beth, our STEAM Teacher 🧼 "I just did art" → Built a sugar scrub & explored new scents with Mrs. Cori, our Occupational Therapist ✔️ "I lassoed 18 animals" → Set personal goals with Mrs. Heidi, our Academic Coordinator 🦸 "Made Rudolph" → Created superhero sidekicks with Ms. Mara, our Family Services Coordinator It’s “stealth therapy” at its finest. Our campers just call it fun!
