  • One of the biggest barriers to practical quantum computing has always been error correction. According to Atom Computing's VP of Research Programs, Kristen Pudenz, recent advances in scaling are finally making meaningful error correction possible and bringing fault-tolerant, utility-scale quantum computing closer to reality. Quantum is no longer a distant research project. It's becoming a strategic technology that government agencies, researchers, and enterprises need to understand today to be ready for tomorrow. 📰 Read the full MeriTalk interview: https://lnkd.in/gkNqUZyt

Before Dr. Ben Bloom takes the main stage at Quantum World Congress 2026, catch up on why neutral atoms are having a moment. In this fireside chat from The Economist Commercialising Quantum, Atom Computing’s CEO & Founder makes the case for how neutral atoms moved from “dark horse” to serious contender — and why scale, connectivity, modularity, and error correction are now putting the modality firmly on the quantum leaderboard. One line that stuck with us: Bloom says the field has gone from systems that were once years behind superconducting qubits to being “neck and neck” — and, in some areas, winning the scaling challenge. At #QWC2026, conversations like this move from theory to ecosystem strategy: hardware roadmaps, supply chains, customers, capital, partnerships, and the race toward utility-scale quantum. 🎥 Watch the full conversation from our friends at Atom Computing → https://lnkd.in/g3KUU5zC → and then join us in #CollegePark September 23-25 to hear more from the leaders building what’s next. #QuantumWorldCongress #QuantumComputing #NeutralAtoms #AtomComputing #QuantumTechnology #QuantumInnovation #WhatsNextStartsNow

Yesterday’s Executive Orders represent a decisive inflection point for U.S. quantum leadership, moving the conversation from experimentation to scalable, real‑world deployment. By advancing both quantum computing capability and post‑quantum security, these actions align national priorities with Atom Computing’s neutral‑atom approach, accelerating the path from breakthrough research to tangible impact. At the same time, Atom’s progress is reshaping the industry trajectory. With demonstrated full quantum error correction and continued scaling, we have moved beyond NISQ‑era constraints toward early fault tolerant and ultimately utility‑scale quantum computers. High‑fidelity operations, all‑to‑all connectivity, and parallelized operations are no longer theoretical advantages. They are the foundation for delivering meaningful, real‑world quantum value. 🔵 Ushering in the Next Frontier of Quantum Innovation: https://lnkd.in/ghbagHdt 🔵 Securing the Nation Against Advanced Cryptographic Attacks: https://lnkd.in/gfRRhctp
