athenahealth's AI-native clinical experience within athenaOne® is now broadly available to more than 170,000 clinicians and already delivering real results. Since rolling out in late 2025, the AI-native clinical experience has cut nearly six minutes from chart preparation and documentation per patient encounter. That adds up to more than two workdays saved per clinician each month. Among early adopters, same-day chart completion has increased by up to 30%, helping reduce backlogs and keep care moving forward. Just as important, our AI strategy is rooted in collaboration. Through the EHR AI CoLab, clinicians and EHR superusers help evaluate, test, and refine new capabilities so they reflect real-world practice and create meaningful value. This is what AI-native looks like: built into everyday workflows, shaped with clinicians, and delivering measurable impact in practice. https://bit.ly/4zgDd80 #athenahealth #AIinHealthcare #HealthcareIT

Patient choice has changed. Has your online reputation? Today's patients are increasingly relying on online reviews, AI powered search, and digital experiences to choose healthcare providers. In fact, three in four patients won't book with a provider rated below 4.0 stars. Join athenahealth and rater8 on August 20 to explore how AI and evolving patient expectations are reshaping provider selection, and what healthcare organizations can do to strengthen their online reputation, build patient trust, and improve online visibility. The webinar will also include a walkthrough of Reputation Management, powered by rater8, and practical strategies you can apply to your organization. The clinical encounter doesn't end when the patient leaves the room. Pre-visit review. Documentation. Inbox follow-up. The work that happens around the visit now rivals the visit itself — and it's growing. We wrote about what's actually driving this, and what it means for how practices need to think about clinical workflows going forward. Changing fax numbers is an operational nightmare. But keeping the legacy, paper-based processes? That means manual data entry, lost documents, and workflow bottlenecks. That’s why eFax® and athenahealth partnered to deliver a frictionless path forward for athenaOne® users stuck on outdated fax workflows. In a recent presentation, Bill French from eFax® and Marcy McDade from athenahealth mapped out how our native integration bridges the gap. You preserve the phone numbers your ecosystem relies on, while automating inbound document routing. Take a look at the key takeaways from their presentation 👇 Want the full breakdown? Always nice to see industry publications take a closer look at innovations that help clinicians spend less time on administrative tasks and more time caring for patients. Appreciate Jacqueline LaPointe's piece on athenahealth's Mobile Charge Capture capability in TechTarget, highlighting how real-time charge capture can help clinicians document care as they round, reducing delays and helping practices capture revenue more consistently. Excited to see it as part of the athenahealth platform.

AI is helping to bring back the optimism in healthcare. And if we can bring that back, we’re not just solving today's problems. We’re building something sustainable for the long term. Check out this article for more information on this important subject. https://lnkd.in/ey39pZVY

At Summer Connect last week, we talked a lot about what customers can expect in the second half of this year. The AI features our clinicians are already using, like ambient documentation, intelligent chart navigation, AI-assisted diagnosis, are the result of building with our customers, not just for them. More on that soon. Very soon. #athenahealth #SummerConnect #AIinHealthcare

At our Summer Connect last week, sales, customer success, and onboarding teams came together to learn, grow, and recommit to delighting our customers from start to finish. I had the chance to share where Customer Care is headed — and why it matters for every client, at every stage of the relationship. We're undergoing a real transformation — from a place clients go when something breaks, to a strategic advantage that creates value long before anything goes wrong. Whether a client is just getting onboarded or years into optimizing their experience with us, the goal is the same: make it easier for them to get value, faster. Here's the first milestone in that journey: Support Assistant. Launched with our July 22 product release, Support Assistant brings conversational AI directly into the Customer Success Community for the 170k+ providers on our network. In just its first weeks, thousands of clients have already used it to self-resolve issues, build product knowledge, and move fluidly from troubleshooting to learning. I'm excited about the flexibility and bespoke approach to customer success this enables. Clients aren't locked into one path or one expert. They can start broad, ask follow-up questions, pivot topics, and refine their answer in real time. A new client onboarding can get quick clarity on setup. A long-tenured client can dig into how to optimize a workflow they've been running for years. Same tool, tailored to wherever they are. When they need more, Support Assistant hands them off — to a support case, live chat, or a call — without losing momentum. This is one piece of a bigger shift. We're also using AI to better capture client issues, surface key client attributes, and route work to the best-enabled athenista. Combined with intelligent routing and process improvements, we're committed to reducing time to resolution and improving first-pass resolution. And we're making the fundamentals better too: giving clients the ability to escalate their own issues, and more time to respond when we need more information, so cases don't close before they're truly resolved. This is just the start. We'll keep evolving these capabilities to meet clients where they are — getting them to the right answer, the right learning, or the right support path, faster and with less friction. None of this works without the partnership underneath it. AI is the enabler. Our people are the differentiator — their judgment, empathy, and expertise are what turn technology into outcomes clients feel, at every stage from day one to day one thousand. One team, one goal: one great customer experience. #CustomerExperience #AI #athenahealth
