U.S. Army Pathway for Innovation and Technology
About us
The Army Pathway for Innovation and Technology accelerates Army modernization through dual-use innovation, strategic partnerships, and mission-driven outcomes. As a critical enabler of Army acquisition reform, PIT injects capability faster by getting in the dirt with the Soldier, performing prototyping at the edge and delivering operational impact at the speed of relevance. The PIT is a critical part of the Army’s Acquisition Reform where we created the 6+1 construct with new Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE). The PIT serves as the +1 chartered to rapidly transform technology into Warfighting capability. The PIT serves as a critical hub that integrates the efforts of three essential organizations within the Army innovation enterprise. Army FUZE, the Joint Innovation Outpost (JIOP), and the Global Tactical Edge Acquisition Directorate (G-TEAD) serve as the operational backbone of the PIT, underpinned by a unified vision to see, share, synchronize, and scale. 📧 Want PIT updates delivered straight to your inbox? U.S. Army Pacific has defined a clear operational need — now it’s time to uncover the technologies that can meet it. That’s the driving purpose behind USARPAC ACE 27‑01: Autonomous Sustainment powered by xTech. USARPAC has outlined the logistical need for greater distributed operations across contested island chains, and G‑TEAD, alongside Army FUZE xTech, is opening the door for industry to bring forward mature autonomous delivery systems ready to help solve them. This G-TEAD Accelerated Capability Event goes beyond a prize competition. It’s a pathway to bring TRL 6+ autonomous air and ground delivery systems into real operational conditions, gain direct Soldier feedback, and potentially leave your technology behind for further evaluation. Finalists will receive 25K in cash prizes, have the opportunity to participate in a live exercise at JPMRC in Hawaii, and may be considered for follow‑on agreements and OTAs from a $2M pool designed to accelerate capability maturation. This is a rare opportunity to get your technology in front of the end users who need it most — and into a pipeline built for rapid learning and transition. White papers are due August 17. Let’s find the technology that meets the demand. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/eV-haPGi #GTEAD #xTech #USARPAC #AutonomousSystems

Celebrating 70 years of DoW ManTech and the Army ManTech efforts powering innovation across Army FUZE and the Pathway for Innovation and Technology.
🎉 𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐘 𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝐓𝐎 𝐔𝐒! 🚀 Celebrating 70 years of building the manufacturing capabilities that enable America's military advantage. Since our establishment on August 10, 1956, we have strengthened America's ability to manufacture the technologies that protect the Nation. While the technologies have changed, the mission has not. Today, we commemorate seven decades of service to our warfighters and the Defense Industrial Base. 🚀 Powering Army Innovation Through Synchronization Last week, the Army's Pathway for Innovation and Technology (PIT) proudly co-hosted the 2nd PIT Synchronization Summit in partnership with the Defense Logistics Agency at Fort Belvoir, VA. Over two action-packed days, we brought together critical leaders from across the defense innovation ecosystem, including across the PIT, Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), Defense Innovation Unit (DIU), Army Applications Laboratory (AAL), U.S. Army DEVCOM, and the 75th Innovation Command. The summit directly put the four core tenets of the Army PIT mission into action: See: We gained critical visibility into emerging capabilities and current operational gaps across the force. Share: Presenters exchanged vital technical priorities, program briefs, and research insights to break down institutional silos. Synchronize: We aligned our modernization roadmaps, from FUZE priorities to PAE operations, ensuring unified efforts. Scale: We forged actionable pathways to rapidly transition and scale cutting-edge technologies directly to the Warfighter. Key Takeaway: Real collaboration requires persistent engagement. To sustain this momentum, COL Shermoan Daiyaan, PIT Director, committed to hosting these synchronization forums at least twice per year. This will ensure continuous, active alignment and faster technology transitions across all participating organizations. Thank you to Dr. Alex M., Army CTO, for delivering opening remarks, LTG Michael “Mac” McCurry for the keynote, to all our expert presenters, and to the attendees for driving the conversation forward. Together, we are transforming visionary ideas into operational reality. #ArmyPIT #ArmyInnovation #PITSummit #TechTransition #ArmyModernization #FutureForce
