Meet RH34! In the late 1990’s, RH34 was the “boing-boing” voiced emcee and host for Macy’s department stores in New York City. Its name originates from the flagship R.H. Macy and Company located on 34th street. ANIMAX created the animatronic version of RH34 for their Christmas displays. One robot was green and gold, pictured here, and the other was blue and gold. The robots were pneumatic actuated with lights on the mouth and chest; arm functions and a head rotate. #animax #animatronics #themedentertainment #robotics

Do you remember the 1995 television ad for Nytol that featured a talking sheep? That sheep was made by ANIMAX! Covered with a hybrid of natural sheep’s wool and synthetic fibers, and controlled by both human puppeteers and servo motors, the Nytol sheep was ANIMAX’s very first opportunity to apply our expertise in puppetry and character costumes to an animatronic character.
