Patients are at the heart of our WHY. ❤️ At #SummitONE2026, patient Jennifer Flowers shared her powerful experience navigating a drug shortage, reminding us that behind every shortage is a person whose care, health, and future are affected. We’re honored to share Jennifer’s story and grateful for her courage in speaking on our patient panel alongside fellow advocates, caregivers, healthcare leaders, and industry partners. Her voice is a powerful reminder of why we must keep listening, keep collaborating, and keep marching forward until no patient is left behind. When patients are at the heart of the conversation, lasting change becomes possible. That's why stories like Brannon's matter. For Brannon Warn-Johnston and her family, drug shortages have meant uncertainty, difficult decisions, and challenges no patient should have to face. Their experience is a powerful reminder that behind every shortage is a person whose health, future, and quality of life depend on access to essential medicines. At Angels for Change, patient experiences like Brannon's are at the center of everything we do. They inspire us to bring together healthcare leaders, policymakers, manufacturers, providers, and advocates to build lasting solutions that ensure patients can access the medicines they need, when they need them. Thank you, Brannon, for courageously sharing your story and reminding us why this work matters. Every patient deserves reliable access to lifesaving medications. Together, we can create a future where no patient is left behind. 🎥 Watch Brannon's story: https://bit.ly/3TXKQQp #AngelsforChange #SummitONE2026 #ChangeMakers #ShortageWarriors #EndDrugShortagesNOW #PatientAccess #ActNow

Thank you, Tanya Alcorn, for your leadership and for sharing this powerful reflection. At SummitONE, we saw what's possible when healthcare leaders unite around one shared purpose: ensuring patient care. Ending drug shortages takes collaboration across the entire supply chain, and conversations like these help us move from reacting to shortages to preventing them. We're especially grateful to Pfizer and its Volunteer Committee for partnering with us over the past nine months to bring #SummitONE2026 to life. The event was made possible by hundreds of volunteer hours and thousands of thoughtful decisions to ensure every voice was represented and all conversations led to meaningful progress. Together, we can build a future where every patient has access to the medicines they need, when and where they need them.
Healthcare's biggest challenges cannot be solved by any one organization alone. That reality was on full display last week as Pfizer hosted the Angels for Change SummitONE for the first time at our New York headquarters, convening thought leaders, policymakers, providers, manufacturers, distributors and patient advocates around a shared goal to end drug shortages. In my keynote remarks, I challenged us to think beyond responding to shortages reactively and instead focus on addressing the underlying conditions that make shortages more likely. If we want a stronger system, we must create one that values reliability, rewards resilience, and supports the long-term sustainability of the manufacturers. I left the summit humbled by the complexity of the challenges we face, but hopeful because of the commitment I witnessed from organizations across the industry. Thank you to Laura Bray and Angels for Change for your leadership in bringing together diverse voices through intentional programming. And thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success – from my fellow panelists Ammie McAsey (Rabicke), David Senior, Arunesh Verma and our Pfizer Global Hospital and Biosimilars U.S. team, led by Meera Bhavsar. Your support demonstrated the passion and purpose that defines our organization. It’s imperative that the conversations don't end here. We will continue striving for solutions – helping to create a future where patients can count on the medicines they need, when they need them. #AngelsForChange #EndDrugShortages #PatientAccess #PatientsFirst #Pfizer
