Today we shared our Q2 results, and they're some of the strongest we've had in years. Revenue grew 17% to $3.6 billion, nights booked accelerated, and more people booked Airbnb for the first time than at any point in the last four years. People naturally want to point to one product or one initiative to explain a strong quarter. That’s not what’s happening here. We’ve rebuilt Airbnb to be an AI-native company. We're shipping nearly 80% more features and improvements this year compared to last, moving from idea to launch as much as 60% faster. This isn’t a one-quarter story. We’re executing at a much higher level than we were just a few years ago, and I think that’s one of the reasons we're growing faster than our largest peers. The long-term opportunity is bigger than ever.

As the wildfires in France force people from their homes, our hearts go out to those affected. Airbnb.org is working with Mairie de Biscarosse, Mairie de Pontenx-les-Forges, and the town halls of the ten municipalities in the Médullienne Community of Municipalities to identify displaced residents in need of shelter and connect them to a free place to stay. Residents affected by the fires in Gironde and Landes should contact their local town hall for housing support. Airbnb.org is also working with Fédération nationale des sapeurs-pompiers de France to provide free housing to firefighters who have deployed to fight the Gironde fires.
