The excitement continues following the opening of the Gordie Howe International Bridge last week. The new crossing between Detroit and Windsor features the longest cable-stayed bridge in North America and provides additional capacity at one of the busiest commercial border crossings between the United States and Canada. For ACS Infrastructure, this landmark project also reflects the value of long-term partnership, collaboration, and the P3 model in delivering complex infrastructure that supports mobility, trade, economic growth, and stronger connections between communities. ACS Group achieved an operational net profit of €510 million in the first half of 2026, up 30%, allowing us to raise our full-year growth target to a range of 30–35%. Today, we presented our results for the first six months of the year, with sales reaching €26.17bn (+12% FX-adjusted), EBITDA increasing to €1.6bn (+13%), and our backlog reaching a record €105.9bn after growing by 21% year-on-year on a comparable basis. The Group closed the semester with a strong net cash position of €1bn, supported by strong operating cash flow generation, enabling S&P to upgrade the credit rating of ACS and all Group companies to BBB. We also continued to advance our growth priorities through an investment of more than €300 million in the development of a 1.2 GW data center giga-campus in Waterford, Ohio (USA). We continue to move forward toward a future where #technology not only connects territories, but also improves people’s quality of life. Skyports Drone Services, in partnership with The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey is kicking off a 12-month medical drone cargo delivery project in New York City. Flying between the Manhattan and Brooklyn waterfronts, we’ll be supporting a local non-profit New York City health system, delivering medical cargo up to 5x faster than by conventional road transport. Beyond time savings, our #drone delivery service has the aim of taking cargo vehicles off the road, reducing congestion and associated emissions.
