When older adults transition into senior living and skilled nursing communities, historical healthcare disparities can follow them right through the front doors. Research shows that minority older adults frequently face higher burdens of chronic conditions, and are more likely to report issues with their medical care. Awareness is only the first step. Action is what matters. We believe high-quality care must be universally equitable. We look closely at clinical outcomes, listen to the unique cultural needs of our residents, and ensure all patients receive the level of care they deserve. #MinorityHealthMonth
