The FY 2027 Program Letter serves as TE/GE's annual roadmap, outlining our strategic priorities, compliance focus areas, and operational objectives for the fiscal year. It communicates how we will align our work with the Dept. of Treasury and IRS priorities by strengthening tax administration, expanding digital-first services, improving operational effectiveness, and investing in our workforce. The Program Letter reinforces our commitment to promoting voluntary compliance, protecting the integrity of the tax system, and delivering high-quality service to taxpayers and stakeholders.

It highlights our focus on risk-based compliance strategies, transformation and modernization through advanced technologies and data analytics, continuous process improvement, and workforce development initiatives that prepare employees to succeed in an evolving environment.
