Get to Know Me
Mike Hoskins is an engagement editor for Healthline. Before that, he was a clinical content editor after serving for a decade as DiabetesMine's managing editor, tapping into his life with type 1 diabetes since childhood to write and advocate for the Diabetes Community. With a journalism degree from Oakland University, Mike has 25 years of experience at daily, weekly, and specialty print and digital media publications. When not working, Mike may be researching his family history, exploring vintage typewriters and rotary phones, or hanging out in Southeast Michigan with his wife and dog.
My Editorial Approach
I believe that healthcare information should be two things: accurate and accessible. As a journalist and patient advocate, my mission is to provide the insights you need to take informed action. By bridging the gap between science-based truth and human-centered storytelling, I create content that ranges from rigorous clinical editing to personal narratives. Whether I’m breaking down complex data or sharing a lived experience, my goal remains the same: to empower readers at every stage of their health journey.
