The Royal Scotsman train at Glasgow Central
The train made a brief stop at Platform 2 on the way from Spean Bridge to Wemyss Bay as a result of a diversion due to engineering works, having already passed through Glasgow Central Low Level without stopping a few minutes earlier.
The train was pulled into the station by Class 57 loco number 57 315, and pulled out by Class 47 loco number 47 804, the drivers having changed ends. Both locos made the journey to Wemyss Bay on the Clyde coast. The nine coach train includes state, dining, sleeping and observation cars in addition to a service car.
