Geograph - photograph every grid square

I now live in Australia, but finding these photos of Throop Mill brought back so many good memories of fishing here with my good mates Dave Smith, Bob Farmer, Ron Fox and John Bourne. The river bailiff at the time was a Mr Bob Olley (A really great bloke) and the lessee of the river was a Mr Tonkin/s. One time I fished in the outfall of the mill, I was standing in the water barefooted and stepped on a little flatfish, it startled me and I slipped on the weed on the concrete bed and went up on my backside--- I did laugh about it though, also about 100 yards further down towards Pig Chute there was always some beautilly big but ectremely hard to catch Roach. AH memories !!!
