It is day 34 of the improvement works. New kerbstones have been installed on part of the east side, and the footpath has been resurfaced between the underpass and the cul-de-sac leading to Nos. 20 to 26 Middlesex Road.
Middlesex Road, Kingston upon Hull: Highway Improvement 2025
The City Council�s Cabinet gave the green light to the proposed Middlesex Road highway improvement scheme, which involved reconstructing the surface of the highway that has deteriorated considerably over several years. Remedial works began on 24 March 2025. The road was re-opened to through traffic on 22 August 2025, and buses returned to this route by 28 August 2025. Report in HullCCNews: Link
