In the general area of Eastbourne Pier, the photo shows the red-coloured marker that gives warning of the presence of Groyne 32. Groyne 32 is the furthest projecting groyne in the groyne field, and it is a potential hazard to boats and other craft, particularly at those times when the seaward end is submerged.
