Kynren is a performance telling the history of England through narration, music, dance, special effects and fireworks. It is performed on summer evenings at 11 Arches Park, Bishop Auckland, County Durham, by 1500 performers on a 3 hectare outdoor stage in front of an audience of up to 8000.
