Glan-y-Mor Road at Maes Gwyn Road
At the west end of Penrhyn Bay. This was the line of the former Llandudno and Colwyn Bay Electric Railway, the tramway between those towns. The cycle lane is part of National Cycle Route 5 and the promenade forms part of the North Wales Coastal Path.
National Cycle Route 5

National Route 5 of the National Cycle Network is a long distance route which when complete will connect Reading and Holyhead via Oxford, Banbury, Stratford-upon-Avon, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Birmingham, Walsall, Stafford, Stoke-on-Trent, Chester, Colwyn Bay and Bangor. The southern half of the route between Reading and Walsall is open and signed whilst the northern half between Walsall and Holyhead is still under development.

North Wales Path

The North Wales Path is 60 miles long and connects Bangor to Prestatyn.
The western section is the more challenging, climbing onto moorlands below Moel Wnion, passing Aber Falls, and continuing below Foel Fras and Tal y Fan and then over Conwy Mountain with fine views along the coast and inland towards Snowdonia's peaks. The Great Orme and Llandudno are encircled to reach Colwyn Bay. The eastern section runs along or closer to the coast with much less ascent, passing Abergele and Rhyll to reach Prestatyn. It links with the Offa's Dyke Path National Trail, and the Clwydian Way, at Prestatyn.
