Croft Castle is a country house some 5 miles northwest of Leominster, built in the early 17th century. The castle was extended in the late 17th century, altered circa 1765 and remodelled in 1913. Constructed, to a roughly square plan with a central courtyard, of coursed rubble stone externally with brick to the interior, all under slate roofs. Inside are many 17th and 18th century features and fittings. The estate is owned by the National Trust. The castle is listed, grade I, with details at: Link
