The Royal Coat of Arms of Queen Victoria on a Penfold pillarbox in Agincourt Square, Monmouth.
Penfold Pillar Box

Penfold Pillar Boxes are named after the designer JW Penfold. They are made from cast-iron, and are a hexagonal shaped letter box made from 1866 to 1879. They were manufactured by Cochrane Grove Company of Dudley.
