An employee can be seen cleaning the windows in what was the visitor centre and bookshop at Birling Gap in preparation for major changes at the National Trust site. The sign on the door reads: Life on the edge. The visitor centre and bookshop will be temporarily closing from 31st October. As we continue to adapt to coastal change, we will be relocating the caf� from its existing position into the current visitor centre space. The visitor centre and book shop will be finding a new home at the back of the building. The old caf� space will then be demolished once the works are complete. The visitor centre and bookshop will be reopening, along with the new caf� in spring 2023.
