A rare mid-1860s Penfold pillarbox on the corner of Parabola Road and Bayshill Road in Cheltenham.
Penfold Pillar Box

Penfold Pillar Boxes are named after the designer JW Penfold. They are made from cast-iron, and are a hexagonal shaped letter box made from 1866 to 1879. They were manufactured by Cochrane Grove Company of Dudley.
