Shaws is a family-owned coach and minibus hire company based in the village of Maxey near Peterborough and serving customers in Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire and Rutland. It was established in 1922. The company operates day tours and coach holidays to destinations throughout the United Kingdom as well as to Ireland and continental Europe.
Shaws has for many years also provided school bus services to Arthur Mellows Village College (AMVC) in Glinton, where this coach from its fleet was spotted on Lincoln Road.

UPDATE: Shaws Coaches announced on its website in early March 2025 that the company would close permanently with effect from May 2nd, 2025, in view of the partners' retirement. The partners in question were the grandchildren of Edwin (Teddy) Shaw, who founded the company in 1922 after using an inheritance to purchase his first "charabanc". Shaws began operating holiday tours in 1982.
In mid-March 2025, Shaws posted on its website that - following rapid negotiations - it had agreed a takeover by Reg's Coaches, which was established in 1962 and is based at Codicote near Welwyn, Hertfordshire. Shaws said that the acquisition by Reg's Coaches would therefore enable it to continue operating day trips, school bus services and holiday tours under its new ownership and with its existing staff.
