Built in 1934-5, No.6A, Little Maderia is a successful piece of infill development. Designed to fit into a small space it harmonises with No. 7 (Madeira Cottage 1815-1819), No. 8 (Harville Cottage early C19 but after Madeira Cottage), No. 8A (Benwick Cottage early C19 also after Madeira Cottage). Listed Grade II in 1952, these pink painted cottages form the central portion of a comprehensive group of eleven Grade II listed properties on Marine Parade. The majority of this group are holiday lets.

There are 209 listed buildings in Lyme Regis, mostly in the conservation areas of Silver Street, Broad Street, Coombe Street and Church Street.
