taken 10 years ago, near to Llandudno, Conwy, Wales

LLAWN is a mini festival that rediscovers and celebrates Llandudno's past via art, architecture, artefact, sound, performance, and participation. Over the weekend of 18th-20th September 2015 a variety of multi discipline events took place in various locations, incorporating buildings (some off limits to the public); the pavement; the promenade; the pier; empty shops; galleries; open studios; the seafront shelters; the bandstand, Victorian Bathing Machines and even a ski slope and a cave.
LLAWN03 introduced an international flavour whilst continuing to reflect and reconfigure the history and culture of its setting with Welsh artists, including Megan Broadmeadow, Eli Acheson-Elmassry, Shani Rhys James, Charles Gershom, Ffloc, the Haus of Helfa residents and others expressing their varied interpretations of Llandudno's past, present and future.
