In front of the seats one reads: "50 Leeg When are you leaving". This is one of the short messages from "The Nautical Telegraph Code Book And Postal Guide" published in the early 20th century, where the message 50 or Leeg meant When are you leaving? The park was used by the US army as an embarkation base for D-Day
