The Olympic torch comes to Bath
Here it is travelling up Lansdown Road, on its way to the Circus and Royal Crescent. Crowds are cheering the torchbearer (Carol Bowery, torchbearer 100) in white. The South West got the torch first, and on this fourth day of its travels round the UK, the weather turned sunny and the crowds started getting seriously large. Backdrops were carefully chosen when the route of the torch was planned.
