This multi-purpose DG6P (Double-geared, six-wheeler, pneumatic tyres) was built in the Sentinel Works at Shrewsbury in 1931 and was one of the last to be chain driven. 'Elizabeth', as this vehicle is now known, did not start out as a bus, but was converted into one in 2002.
