taken 21 years ago, near to Ashley, Hampshire, England

Monument and downland, Farley Mount
Monument and downland, Farley Mount
Looking east from the Clarendon Way footpath towards the monument on the highest point of Farley Mount. The remains of an iron-age enclosure are buried under the crops in the foreground. The recently restored monument gleams white in the sunlight and can be seen for many miles around.
