SU0697 : Thames and Severn Canal near South Cerney

taken 20 years ago, near to South Cerney, Gloucestershire, England

Thames and Severn Canal near South Cerney
Thames and Severn Canal near South Cerney
The canal here has been disused for long enough for large trees to have grown between the towpath and the canal - so much so that it was quite hard to get a photo through the undergrowth. Most of the line is now dry, but this is a short stretch with some water in it, though no doubt less than when the canal was in use.
