View eastward, towards London: ex-GW&GC Joint main line (Northolt Junction - Ashendon Junction), ex-GWR Paddington - Birmingham and ex-LNER (GCR) Marylebone - Leicester - Sheffield. The fast lines in the centre were removed about 1970.

South Bucks Way / Pyghtle Footpath
Both names apply, although Pyghtle Footpath sounds much more ancient. A tarmac surfaced path and cycleway through woodland linking old Denham village with more recent Denham Green the other side of the railway.
