A monument no more

Though some maps continue to depict it, a monument which once stood on the banks of the river west of Neville Hall, is no more. One side of the protective fencing which once surrounded it still stands on the very edge of the eroding river cliff.

Triangular clump of trees near Nevill Hall Hospital

A clump of (coniferous?) trees at the junction of three fields. The trees are too young to be the remnants of woodland. The fields were once part of the Nevill Court estate.

This red brick house bears the arms of the Marquess of Abergavenny, which dates from the time when this property, as with others in the neighbourhood of Nevill Hall, were estate houses.
