At the west end of Platform 2 at Shireoaks Station, a gate in this traditional style fencing gives access to a tarmac walkway leading to some electrical equipment cabinets.

Boundary Lock

Lock 41A on the Chesterfield Canal. This additional lock was built during restoration work to overcome mining subsidence. It was named Boundary Lock because it is near the boundary of Yorkshire with Nottinghamshire.
