There are several good wild campsites around the small llyn in the cwm, and the chance of a trout to be caught in the llyn or the stream. I must get back there more often.

This view across the Ogwen Valley towards the Glyderau and beyond to Snowdon encompasses the Llyn Ogwen and Llyn Idwal lakes. The mountains in the middle and backgrounds are from right to left, Pen yr Ole Wen, Y Garn, Glyder Fawr and Snowdon.

Following the south-western ridge as it approaches the summit of Carnedd Dafydd, the question was whether the mist hanging over the summit would clear. It didn't and fog completely shrouded the top for my whole time there.
