A carpet showroom in the town centre. It looks to have been enlarged considerably since 2013, compare SE0126 : Furniture retailers, Mytholmroyd. That may be a result of being flooded out in the 2015 Boxing Day floods, as it is very close to the river.

The broad beamed boat complete with brass band is part of the celebrations of the reconstruction of the Rochdale Canal through Sowerby Bridge, thus reconnecting this length of the waterway with the rest of the canal network.
