Founded before 1895 this building was in use when the image was taken. The date stone just visible in the brick wall states "Bethel Chapel 1854"

Ex-Bolton car No 66 is seen with two single-deck cars on the reversing track at Bispham. In the distance, a one-man car passes on the northbound through track.

Bathed in early morning sunshine English Electric tramcar number 12 arrives at Bispham Station. 12 was one of a batch of 13 English Electric cars rebuilt for One Man Operation (OMO) between 1972 and 1976.
