The path is climbing to regain the trackbed after a diversion due to the missing bridge by the site of St Fillans Station. It is easy to follow the line to Lochearnhead.

This bypasses the old St Fillans railway station before joining the line of the dismantled St Fillans to Lochearnhead railway line west of the station. This may become part of the Three Saints Way long distance path between Iona and St Andrews.
