Abhainn Gleann nam Fiadh from near Chisholme Bridge
The Abhainn Gleann nam Fiadh is a substantial feeder to the drainage system of Glen Affric, it's seen here from close to Loch Beinn a' Mheadhoin which it enters. Spring snow can be seen on the 1036m mountain, Sgurr na Lapaich.

The Abhainn Gleann nam Fiadh flows into Loch Beinn A' Mheadhoin. The water level in both burn and loch are low, with shingle visible which would normally be below water level.

Gleann nam Fiadh hydro powerhouse
This is the powerhouse for a 2MW run-of-the-river hydro scheme on the Abhainn Gleann nam Fiadh, in Glen Affric. The powerhouse is mostly underground, with stone-facing on the walls.
