Discussion on SZ0993

I lived at the junction of Firbank and Green Roads all through the 2nd WW and grew up climbing the wall in Green Rd into the Gardens, playing kids games with (to name a few) Dianne Goff, Andy Hewlitt and his sister Pat, the Andrews brothers, Sid Miles, Brian Habgood, Freddy Norman, Sonya Burman and her younger brother Jeffery. There was a park keeper in those days that made daily visits to ensure that we kept off the grass. We made camps in the bushes,climbed the trees and regarded it as our domain. I'd love to hear from anyone still alive who remembers those days between 1942 and 1952.
