The rocks south of the tor are a little more impressive than the hilltop itself. On a misty day, a ewe stands guard on one side, a bent hawthorn on the other.

Stone circle on Craddock Moor

Fairly clear on Google Earth but not so on the ground! The stones are almost buried and, in the absence of GPS, it requires careful compass bearing and pacing to locate it. The transmitter mast on Caradon Hill can be seen in the distance.

Boundary Stone on Craddock Moor
One of a series of single stones that mark a line from the edge of the enclosed land near Trewalla to the Withybrook. They do not appear to be a parish boundary so I wonder if it was to do with grazing rights or the mines dotted about the moor.
