This long narrow field behind a house in the village opposite the church has been converted to a garden and numerous ornamental trees have been planted. A footpath runs through the garden along the hedge on the right hand side of the picture.

Cole's Lane near Yetminster

Appears to be an ancient byway leading from Clifton Maybank to Yetminster, although only part of it is now navigable without a machete. This section would normally be good walking but previous heavy rain had flooded it. And yes - I did get wet feet!

Looking northwards on what appears to be an ancient byway. This section was reasonably navigable but further on it is completely blocked by undergrowth necessitating a detour through adjoining fields to make progress.
