Amazing Kong

[10.0] "Moved mountains for women's wrestling in america, she's great in the ring and at this point she should 100% be considered a legend. She will always get her tens from me."

[10.0] "A one-of-a-kind performer in the North American wrestling scene. It is incredible how no company has succeeded in creating a wrestler with as much ferocity and prestige as Kong since her time in TNA. Her role in TNA was an all-timer with great title reigns and a legendary feud with Gail Kim. Her later career in America was not as successful but the impact she has left on the industry deserves to make her a ten."

[8.0] "The North American female wrestling GOAT. She was breaking the mould in women's wrestling and her late 2000s TNA run was just excellent. That series with Gail Kim, just great."

[9.0] "One of the top 5 knockouts in all TNA history, Mickie and Gail are the only 2 I deam above her, and that's not saying much. Kong could've single handedly held up a women's division in her prime, if we don't talk about her short run in AEW. She also proved that larger women could be stars and could be taleted, and I would argue she is the only one in America to do so on a large stage. Kong is just a great hand to have around and should be in the top 100 women on here, but somehow isn't."

[9.0] "In TNA Impact, Kong was happy to either decimate her opposition, be done in by being outnumbered, and give the rub to Gail Kim as a worthy adversary, and even made her squash victories look convincing by not just doing a "Punch and I win" thing and actually doing a methodical picking apart of any hapless opponent she had; even in the fan vs. Kong 25k challenge. She was also better than some other super heavyweights like Haystacks Calhoun and Crybaby Cannon by not being a lumbering mass and actually being a female Andre the Giant; being very large by size, but moving quite quickly, which belied her amazingly uncommon frame (I mean uncommon as in, much larger than most women, but not a bad thing by any stretch as her larger size made her the terrifying villain every company should have.) Unfortunately, we never got to see just how scary she was in WWE, as she got pregnant, then was released out of nowhere just like Dawn Marie was in the past after SHE got pregnant (ouch). I do miss her and wish she would've wrestled just a few years longer. Also, I give props to her acting, as she did fantastic playing Welfare Queen in the Netflix Series GLOW."

[9.0] "Awesome Kong was basically the female version of Vader, in that she was probably the best female powerhouse wrestler of all time (Vader would probably be the best male powerhouse) and she had amazing chemistry with Gail Kim, similar to Vader and Sting. She also had a poor WWE run, similar to Vader. Amazing..."

[9.0] "Someone who is overshadowed in the "women's revolution". Was one of TNA's best and was very good in Japan."

[9.0] "I'll give Kong the same rating I gave Vader, which is a high 9. She was undoubtedly the best gaijin working in Japan during the 2000s and 2010s, and her run in TNA was really something special. The only reason I can't give her a 10 is because her run in WWE was just too uneventful. Nevertheless, she seems like an absolute sweetheart and I hope we get to see her working again in some capacity."

[10.0] "One of the best berserker monster heels ever. Arguably the safest worker among the active giant monster heels, regardless of gender. To consistently have 100+ pounds over your opponents over the course of your career and have a trusted respected reputation as a safe partner after a decade is a feat few accomplish. This puts her into a rare space shared by Hall of Fame bigs like Rikishi and Big Show. Sheer size and power alone make it so that many 'giants' eventually incur dangerous moments over the course of their career (Brock Lesnar, Nia Jax) simply because that much of a weight and power difference between opponents means the margin of error decreases substantially between what is and is not a close call. Awesome Kong is an all around top tier legend. If her music hits and she comes out there is a clear feeling of a legitimate threat having arrived whether it is during a women's match, a men's match, as a rumble entrant, and this is across all promotions and regions. USA or Japan. WWE, TNA, or AEW. Universally respected future Hall of Famer (definitely as a singles wrestler and probably also to be inducted as a member of Double Kong with Aja Kong)."

[8.0] "She played a huge & important role in the original women's revolution and helped bring TNA to its glory days. A monster heel in any division is a great asset for a company to have & Kong worked that role well. Her memorable feud with Gail helped ignite the Knockout division which really helped WWE realize they needed to step out of the lingerie hiring that they had been stuck on for so long."

[8.0] "I loved watching Awesome Kong in TNA. She was just something totally different for the Knockout Division. Having her as a Heel champion and watching underdogs face her over and over until they eventually triumphed was exciting. She also had the wrestling skills to make her matches exciting to watch even though a lot of them were the same basic set-up. I was disappointed that her WWE career ended so tragically, but I'll never forget all the great moments she brought to TNA"

[8.0] "Awesome Kong is a powerful force of nature. Her best years as a wrestler have passed her by, with her back issues being more evident with each match she takes part in, but it's still Awesome Kong."

[8.0] "For someone her size, one of the few I know that knows how to put on a good match. Had great matches with Gail Kim in TNA back in 2007. An unfortunate leave of pregnancy caused her WWE career to get derailed before going hopping back to TNA in January 2015. Works great as a heel or babyface and overall a great worker."

[10.0] "I'm a fan of a strong woman, and Kong is one of the toughest and the strongest out there. She tears up all expectations for "divas", as they have horribly been called by the WWE, and chews them up and spits them out. One of my favorite performers ever, regardless of gender."

[9.0] "Great surprise return in TNA, she tricked us well. Great in-ring presence and athleticism. Only miss a Knockout title and more storylines."

[8.0] "One of the most awe-inspiring female wrestlers of her generation. Big, mean, nasty, and powerful. She helped build the Knockouts division into something worth watching. She was not a DIVA by any means, although she later joined their ranks for an extremely brief period of time. Her time in WWE was absolutely not worth it, because she joined, was hyped to the ceiling, got pregnant, and BOOM hype gone. Zeb Colter, the man who discovered her, would go on to have more matches in the WWE than she did. After the aforementioned pregnancy turned into a tragedy, Kong was able to bounce back and is now tearing up the indy scene. I guess we'll never know what she could have done in WWE, but we will always look back on her time in TNA as an era of absolute domination."

[9.0] "Kong is great in the ring and her recent weight loss will increase her speed making her even more of a threat. She was dominant in TNA and in Japan and expect the same anywhere she goes."

[10.0] "Very powerful and very intimidating in the ring but also can wrestle and move well for a big woman. Her list of wrestling accomplishments such as titles and tournament won and awards is very impressive. Had the privilege of witnessing many of them first hand via TV. One of the best women wrestlers in the world."

[9.0] "Pretty much the perfect foil for smaller wrestlers. Plays a very believable berserker."
