My spouse and I sleep hot, have sensitive skin, and suffer from allergies especially to dust mites. Because of this, we change out our pillow cases every 2-3 days, and wash/dry them on the highest heat always. This kills the mites, removes the sweat and oils, and keeps our faces from breaking out... but sometimes, at the expense of the life of our pillowcases. We purchase all natural materials exclusively for bedsheets and linens ESPECIALLY due to the sensitivities and longevity: we need something that can withstand being washed and dried regularly at high temps, and cotton is "that girl." It is a very nice neutral tan-brown color, which pairs well with my variety of different flat sheet colors. This Beckham set is also THICK! The cotton weave is not very soft, and certainly not silken/sateen-feeling BUT it is thicker than cotton sheet sets I've purchased previously and I can trust it will last quite some time despite frequent heavy washing. My only qualm is that at $35, this is a steep cost compared to other cotton sets; I have certainly purchased entire flat sheet sets that came with pillow cases for the same price, with the same material ALBEIT slightly thinner material. But hey -- if you want something to last a long time, you have to invest in the higher-quality materials. Does it feel "luxury?" Not necessarily, but I will take sturdy, comfortable, long-lasting, and pretty over "luxury" any day! Pictured on my bed, please ignore the wrinkles! I was too lazy to iron/steam for this image and I left it in the dryer for too long, but it's normally smooth

    My first thought is that the memory foam, under shearling is not as dense and cushy as the previous ones I had purchased (with memory foam - fantur- I believe. Otherwise I love them. Fit well to size, shearling is very soft against foot. I love that it’s real shearling vs polyester faux shearling.

    These pillowcases impressed me right away. The material feels good in your hands and the stitching looks like it was done right. Soft enough to sleep on comfortably, but not that overly silky soft that gets hot.

    I’ve washed them several times already and they came out looking the same each time. No shrinkage and no issues with the fit.

    I sleep pretty still, and honestly I never even think about the pillowcases once I’m out. That tells me everything I need to know. Great value and something I’d buy again.
