It's been pretty quiet here on my Dreamwidth because i've been settling pretty firmly into my webspace at
wrdnrd.net. This is where probably 99% of all my public internet postings are going to be.
I'm not going to spam your friendslist here with constant pointers to my posts over there, but i wanted to mention it again because i've made a few class-related posts that i thought might be of interest:
I know it's been awhile since i talked about class/classism publicly; i talk a little about that in the 1st post above.
The 3rd post may be of particular interest because i finally found my program book from the 2006 Wiscon (#30, i believe -- i remember years, not numbers) so i could look up the exact title and description of the "trailer trash in space" panel, which is something i know i've talked to a few people here about. In the comments of that post i've been having a pretty interesting discussion with one of the panelists, who seemed genuinely surprised to hear that people have been referring to this panel as a "disaster."
So, anyway, that's where you can find me. There's a feed here on DW, too, if you'd like to follow my whole blog (it's not all class stuff -- mostly it's boring pictures of my cats and stories about what we've put in our dehydrator lately):
wrdnrddotnet_feed. The DW feed is Twitter-free (even tho' i'm importing my tweets to my blog), because i figure if you're interested in my Twitter you're probably already following me there.
