I Support Creative Writing
My original writing will be flocked, but other writers and fans of books are free to friend this journal! Please keep in mind that my journal will be geared toward the 20somethings crowd, but teenagers and older adults are free to friend and express their opinions too. All viewpoints are welcome with open arms.
I enjoy writing about realistic characters in extraordinary situations, and I enjoy flawed characters who've a bit of originality and spunk. Perfect characters bore me to tears. You know the guy/girl who can read at age 1, be loved by everyone, and have the perfect amount of sass/intelligence/grace/humor without ever offending people? YEAH NO. You won't find that here. Flaws abound! Branching out is a good thing, and Mary Sues/Gary Stus were cool when I was 14. I also prefer darker settings - some fantastical, some not - and exploring various social issues and taboos. I find sexuality fascinating and my characters are rarely 100% heterosexual. Despite my love of "dark plot," I adore throwing humor into my stories. Laughing at my characters is a great time. :D
