I'm very obsessed with it, trust me! medicine study: sometimes I tend towards rambling too much about medical topics (like my lectures & professors, anatomy in general, ethical questions & my job), which are confusing and maybe a little bit annoying. sorry for that. finished fourth semester lol (basic study part), but it’s still a looooong way to go. so i'm gonna continue rambling about this and that... ;P my job: in my term breaks (tried to work besides university, that was too much) I’m working in a hospital, to be exact in the operating rooms. it’s a small hospital, only 4 operating rooms. there is general surgery, traumatological surgery, gynaecological surgery, a few heart pacemakers per week and that’s it. what’s exactly my job? easy, practically everything that has to be done. I have to bring the patients in and out (not alone of course, generally not allowed… and forget how the tv shows it, it’s not working that way! lol), make sure the used instruments appear in the sterilization department, sort the new sterile instruments away in the right places, do the whole telephone work, part of the paper work, sort and refill the stock and a few things more. as I’m a medical student the surgeons let me stay from time to time by the operating table and hold something. yay! sometimes it’s a lot of work, but I’m in love with it, because I have the opportunity to see operations and learn something useful. and no, I never fainted before and I'm not planning too. people tend to think I'm a bit crazy, but I'm really just a normal girl. this world needs surgeons, right?
