We built Cursor Plugin CC, an open-source plugin that connects Claude Code and Cursor. It lets Cursor step in as a second, independent opinion, reviewing changes for issues and severity, or taking on delegated tasks in the background while the developer keeps moving. We got tired of compliance gaps only showing up at audit time, so we built a way to catch them at deploy time. Most teams handle compliance the same way: policies get written, infrastructure gets built somewhat separately, and an audit shows up once a year to reconcile the two. It works, technically, until it doesn't, and the gap between "documented" and "actually enforced" gets expensive. We built GRC XL to close that gap earlier. It takes regulatory requirements and translates them into controls that are automatically checked against your infrastructure-as-code, starting with Terraform on AWS. Instead of finding out at audit time that a bucket was left public or an encryption setting was skipped, you find out at deployment time. It starts with HIPAA and SOC 2 because that's where we saw the sharpest pain in healthcare and health-tech infrastructure. The architecture is built to extend to more regulations, more clouds, more IaC languages. Daniel Baena, our ML Engineer, wrote up how it works and why we built it this way. Last Saturday, our office wasn't an office; it was a hackathon floor for the local Devin community. We hosted a hands-on hackathon around Devin and opened our doors to the broader tech community to try it out on real problems. Devin ambassador Erasmo Hernández walked the group through the tool, then stepped back and let people work. Participants tackled challenges in teams, compared notes on what worked and what didn't, and spent as much time debating agent behavior with each other as they did coding. What stood out wasn't the tool; it was the room. Engineers from different companies, different backgrounds, all equally curious about where AI-assisted development is actually headed right now, not in theory. That's the kind of afternoon we like building. Thanks to everyone who showed up ready to experiment!
