From gyms, leisure centres, studios, sports bodies and other activity providers, to major health bodies, consumer brands, tech firms and equipment manufacturers, our community collaborates across the private, public and third sectors. ukactive facilitates high-impact partnerships, drives breakthrough campaigns, conducts critical research and lobbies the Government to recognise the power of the physical activity sector to address today’s biggest issues – including ‘levelling up’ health, reducing the burden on the NHS and social care, improving workforce health and boosting the economy, reducing crime, revitalising our high streets and communities, and tackling loneliness.

We're currently recruiting for: 📅 Events & Marketing Coordinator Play a pivotal role in delivering ukactive's portfolio of high-profile events, from the ukactive Awards to Member Networks and Strategic Partner Group events, while supporting marketing activity that engages members and showcases the impact of the physical activity sector. In this hybrid, Central London-based role, you'll coordinate the end-to-end delivery of events, work with speakers, sponsors and partners, and help create exceptional experiences that strengthen relationships across our membership and wider sector. We're looking for an experienced finance professional to join ukactive's Finance and Resources Committee as a Co-opted Member. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the governance of the UK's leading not-for-profit organisation for the physical activity sector, helping to ensure strong financial oversight, effective risk management and organisational resilience. We're looking for someone with: 💼 Demonstrable financial acumen through professional qualifications or senior financial management experience 📈 Knowledge of governance principles and strategic risk management 🤝 Senior leadership experience and a passion for the role physical activity plays in improving health and wellbeing As a member of the Finance and Resources Committee, you'll provide independent challenge and support, helping to shape decisions that enable ukactive to deliver on its mission of getting more people, more active, more often. We're proud to be partnering with the physical activity facilities forum Ireland (paf Ireland) as it launches its inaugural event on 15–16 September at the Grand Hotel, Malahide, Dublin. This new forum will bring together leaders from across Ireland and Northern Ireland's physical activity, leisure and fitness sectors to explore the future of facilities, share ideas and build valuable partnerships.
