“When incidents happened, everyone had a different version of the story. You start from zero, and that’s not sustainable.” That was DHL Supply Chain Uganda before Powerfleet. No integrated tracking. No video. Investigations built on whoever remembered what. Zachary Mukwaya, General Manager, decided the business did not need another process. It needed data. Around 50 vehicles later: ✅ Over 95% reduction in unsafe driving behaviors ✅ Up to 20% off insurance premiums ✅ More than 95% of the system actually being used, which is rarer than it sounds. He puts it better than we could: “Powerfleet gives us the power to measure, and therefore the power to manage better.” This is how they did it 👇 . . . #FleetSafety #Logistics #SupplyChain #Powerfleet

When we count the cost of a workplace accident, we usually count one person. Lisa Ramos asks us to count further. Her forklift accident happened on her son's 13th birthday. He is 33 now. In this clip, she talks about the effect it had on him and on the whole family long after the day itself. Most safety conversations stop at the injured person. Her point is that the harm rarely does. Filmed at The Health & Safety Event, with Proud2bSafe, Alan McEnteggart, UK Material Handling Association, and David Garton. . . . #WorkplaceSafety #SafetyCulture #HealthAndSafety #ForkliftSafety #Powerfleet

"We had an accident, but don't worry, no one got hurt." Alan McEnteggart of the UK Material Handling Association hears that sentence often. His response is simple. Another roll of the dice, the same event, and the outcome could be catastrophic. No injury does not mean no risk. It means you got lucky once. And the work does not stop when an investigation lands on human error. That is where it should start. Most near misses go unreported until one becomes a serious incident. Here is how we help operators react sooner 👉 https://lnkd.in/dUwUfduk Filmed at The Health & Safety Event, with Lisa Ramos, Proud2bSafe, and David Garton. . . . #NearMiss #WarehouseSafety #SafetyCulture #ForkliftSafety #Powerfleet

A dispatcher sends a truck to a dock that's already backed up. Nobody made a mistake. The systems just don't talk to each other. That's how most data silos form. They accumulate over years, one sensible purchase at a time, until the person planning the route has no idea what's waiting at the other end. Every operation has someone who holds it together. The one who knows which report to trust, which number is outdated, and who to call when the two don't match. Ask what happens the week they're on leave. In our latest blog, we discuss what causes data silos across fleet and warehouse operations, what a joined-up view actually gives you, and six questions to put to any provider who says they can fix it. 👉 https://lnkd.in/diKScEEz . . . #SupplyChain #WarehouseOperations #FleetManagement

💥 Customer success story A fuel truck hijacking can escalate quickly from a vehicle recovery issue into a major operational loss. In this case, the Powerfleet Unity Operations Centre helped turn an early-morning alarm into a rapid recovery, with the truck and trailer located within 34 minutes and most of the stolen fuel recovered later that morning. This remarkable story shows what effective fleet security depends on when minutes matter: early signals, experienced people, clear escalation, and a response model that continues after the first recovery. . . . #FleetSafety #VehicleRecovery #FuelTransport #SouthAfrica #UnityOperationsCentre #Powerfleet

A quarter of a century of work does not end with a page closing. Fleet Complete's LinkedIn page retires on 31 July, and we would like to say something simple to the 35,800 people who have followed it: you are the reason this chapter was worth writing. The same team is still here. Your solutions keep advancing, and the people who support you are not going anywhere. Follow Powerfleet to stay with the story. We are glad to have you.
Just over twenty-five years ago, this journey began with a simple belief: that the hard-working businesses powering the physical economy deserved better tools to run safer, smarter operations. What started in Toronto in 2000 as Courier Complete, one founder's answer to the real challenges couriers faced on the road, grew into Fleet Complete, a trusted name for fleet operators across North America, Europe, and Australia. Along the way, we connected hundreds of thousands of vehicles, drivers, and assets, and earned the trust of businesses that put mission-critical operations in our hands. In October 2024, we began our most exciting chapter yet: joining Powerfleet, a global leader in AIoT fleet intelligence. Together, we're delivering a system of intelligence that turns connected data into safer, more compliant, more efficient operations for over 2.6 million subscribers worldwide. That evolution is now complete. This LinkedIn page will be retired on July 31. To stay connected and keep up with what's next, follow ➡️ Powerfleet The work continues, stronger, under one brand. The same teams, the same commitment to your success, and an expanded portfolio backed by a 570-strong R&D organization and 1,130+ customer experience experts. Your solutions keep advancing. Your support keeps growing. Nothing about our partnership with you slows down. Thank you for 25 years. We can't wait to keep driving forward together. #Powerfleet #FleetComplete #FleetManagement #AIoT #FleetSafety

You would never stand in the middle of a road to chat with someone driving a truck. But plenty of us have done the equivalent at work. A step away from a moving forklift, because it stopped feeling dangerous a long time ago. Lisa Ramos survived a forklift accident in 2006. In this clip, she describes the moment the risk stopped registering. It is the clearest explanation of normalized risk we have heard. The environment did not change. What changed was that people stopped seeing it. Filmed during The Health & Safety Event 2026, with Proud2bSafe, Alan McEnteggart, UK Material Handling Association, and David Garton. . . . #ForkliftSafety #WorkplaceSafety #SafetyCulture #RiskManagement #Powerfleet

Mention cameras in a vehicle, and you'll often hear the same objection: it's a spy in the cab. It's a fair concern, and it tends to be felt more strongly in parts of Europe than in the US or the UK. If a driver believes a camera is there to catch them out, you've lost them before you've started. So the first job isn't installing the technology. It's being completely clear about why it's there. And the honest answer is usually the opposite of surveillance. A camera is one of the strongest protections a driver has. When something happens on the road that wasn't their fault, footage is what clears them. It's what defends them and the business against a false claim for an accident that never happened or for damage that was already there. Used well, monitoring isn't about watching people. It's about backing them up when it matters. Get the purpose right, and say it out loud, and the spy in the cab becomes the most reliable witness a driver has. In the 2024–25 school year, US school buses transported roughly 20.3 million children a day. In 2024 alone, school bus-related crashes caused 110 deaths and 17,600 injuries. AI dashcams are changing how student transportation providers manage that risk. Beyond capturing footage after the fact, they detect unsafe driving in real time, flag distracted or fatigued drivers, and give operators the evidence they need to fight false liability claims. In our latest blog, we break down the full business case, from cutting accident costs to protecting drivers and passengers. Read it here: https://lnkd.in/dtz3PAYY. . . . #StudentTransportation #FleetSafety #AIVideo #SchoolBusSafety #AIoT #FleetManagement
