The future of healthcare is being shaped in real conversations about how we treat obesity, and how we build digital health people can actually trust. This month, two of our team took both of those debates to the stage. At the Integrative & Personalised Medicine Congress, our Registered Dietitian Zoe G. joined the debate on a question the whole sector is wrestling with: is obesity about food, medicine, or both? Her answer, drawn from our State of Obesity Report, is that the public is moving on from blame. Awareness of weight management medications is climbing, understanding of them is growing, and attitudes are shifting fast. Because it's not willpower, it's biology and treating a medical condition is exactly that: addressing health, not taking shortcuts. A week earlier in Amsterdam, our Clinical Director Danielle Brightman took the HLTH Europe stage for the Safe to Scale panel on what it really takes to build digital health products people can trust. It's the principle we build everything on: we're here to deliver safe, evidence-based care and to supervise it properly, not simply to provide treatment. Scale only counts if people stay safe while you do it. Thank you Zoe and Danielle for representing Numan so brilliantly, and thank you Integrative & Personalised Medicine 2026 and HLTH Inc. for having us.

The "manosphere" isn't a fringe corner of the internet anymore. It's influencing how many young men think about their health, their relationships, and their worth. Dr Zak Zafrani at Numan makes the case in HuffPost: we need to take this seriously. As a doctor, Zak sees where the online narrative collides with reality. Misinformation about bodies, hormones, and masculinity that fuel bad habits and distrust of real medical advice. The voices filling that gap aren't clinicians. They're algorithms optimised for outrage. With the under-16s social media ban now on the table, this conversation is only going to get louder. At Numan, we believe men's health deserves better than what the manosphere is selling: real clinical guidance, honest conversations, and care that treats men as patients, not targets. Great to see Zak leading this conversation. 👏 📖 Read the full piece in HuffPost: https://lnkd.in/e_y9jiuK

The Wegovy pill has officially been approved in the UK. For years, injections were the only way to access GLP-1s for weight loss, and for many people, the requirement of a weekly needle remained a barrier to care. Our recent survey of 2,000 UK adults highlighted just how significant this barrier is: - 28% of Brits have delayed or avoided a medical appointment simply because it involved a needle.1 - 58% of people who are overweight or living with obesity and experience needle anxiety have done the same.1 An oral GLP-1 option changes that landscape entirely. One pill, before breakfast, every morning. It delivers similar clinical results to the weekly injection, but without the needles, the fridge storage, or the sharps bin taking up room in your cupboard. We’ve been watching the clinical data closely, and we’re proud to be among the first healthcare providers to offer this to UK patients. Weight management has spent too long being harder to access than it needs to be, and this is a genuine step forward. We are incredibly proud to see Numan recognised in this year’s The Times’ Sunday Times 100. From a bold idea in 2018 to a profitable healthcare platform that has supported over 800,000 patients, this journey has been built entirely on the courage and curiosity of our team. Growth is a milestone, but our focus remains on what matters most: helping people live healthier, longer lives. Read more here https://lnkd.in/e_ufZH-U

Notice anything different? We’ve given Numan a fresh coat of paint. When we started, we focused on men's health. Today, we look at the whole picture, from weight management to advanced blood tests. Because our treatments have evolved, our brand is evolving too. Don't worry, this is purely a visual update. The core of Numan stays exactly where it is: 📦 Your treatments: Prescriptions and plans won't change. 🩺 Clinical care: Same exact access to our medical team. 🔐 Your account: Logins and delivery schedules stay just as they are. You don’t need to do a thing. Our look's evolving, but our commitment to your health is staying exactly where it is.

🌍 Today is World Health Day. The theme: Together for health. Stand with science. Science is clear on something the conversation has been slow to catch up on. Obesity is not a willpower problem. It's a chronic condition, and research has strongly linked it to cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, and more. The evidence is growing, and the case is strong: treating obesity is a powerful tool in preventative healthcare. Done properly, preventative healthcare is clinical, patient-focused, and grounded in evidence. It's care designed to add healthy years, not just treat unhealthy ones. At Numan, our approach is built on exactly that. It's what the evidence asks for, and it's the standard we hold ourselves to. There's still stigma to navigate, and real barriers to access. But where science leads, longer and healthier lives follow.

Last week, Numan was recognised on Sifted’s leaderboard of the UK and Ireland’s fastest-growing scaleups alongside Lottie, Augmentive, and Phlo. One of the most striking things about this year’s list is how many digital health companies are now appearing among the UK’s fastest-growing businesses. For decades, healthcare innovation in the UK has largely been associated with pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and hospital infrastructure. Increasingly, we’re now seeing a new generation of companies building platforms that support people earlier in their health journeys. This growth reflects a simple reality: healthcare systems are under growing pressure, and new models of care are needed to expand access, strengthen prevention and help people manage long-term health more effectively. The rise of digital health scaleups signals a meaningful shift in how healthcare will be delivered in the years ahead - and we’re excited to be part of driving that transformation.
